The vehicles were developed with the aim of improving the use of internal space and had as its starting point the best ergonomics and the safety for passengers and driver. The new 2012 line of Volare minibuses is composed of six models - W9, DW9, W8, V8, V6 and V5 - with different configurations, for use in chartering and inbound tourism, city, school, and special units for health, mobile police station and transport of prisoners. It also has LED in the rear position lights, outline marker lights and "brake-light." Susin emphasizes that the LED technology represents a breakthrough for the Brazilian bus segment and ensures greater security by allowing long distance visibility. It also has built-in speaker, headphone plug with three channels and volume control.Įxternally, Volare W9 received LEDs for optical assemblies – front and rear indicators and rear taillight. The W9 Limousine is also equipped with a new system of ducted air conditioning which improves the air flow direction and has individual outputs located on the service panel. Some internal finishing touches are made of a material that imitates wood, especially on the floor and the dashboard, and the illumination is indirectly done by LEDs in the entire length of the passenger’s saloon. The vehicle also features an advanced camera system for the passenger’s saloon, front door, driver's cabin and the road and it transfer the images to the monitors. Milton Susin also emphasizes that the W9 Limousine was developed with greater use of 100% recyclable engineering plastic components, which absorb impact and collaborate with environmental preservation. The parcel rack gained new design and fastening system that allowed the expansion of the luggage capacity to 90 l / m against 75 l / m of the previous model to facilitate placement and removal of volumes. This material was developed to adapt to the passenger’s structure and height, accommodating him/her to the seat with maximum comfort.Īnother innovation is that the seats have cup holders, integrated foot rest and retractable seatbelt. The model has Executive Soft semi-bed seats which are wider (1060 mm) and covered with black leather, double orange stitching and head rest made of viscoelastic foam. Volare W9 Limousine is equipped with individual monitors at each seat that can be programmed to play movies, music, GPS, images and games, among other resources provided by the wireless internet. “After months of studies and tests, our engineering department has chosen to use SCR system (Selective Catalitic Reduction) with ARLA 32(Liquid Reducing Agent) injection in the catalyst converter in all vehicles”, says Susin. It is equipped with MWM MaxxForce 4.8 engine, with a power output of 165 bhp, torque of 600 Nm between 1,200 and 1,600 rpm and it uses SCR technology which reduces NOx emission to very low levels, close to zero and helps provide fuel economy. The vehicle is aimed at Charter and Tourism segments and it was designed to provide high standard of comfort, refinement, safety and interior space. The flagship and also the most sophisticated model of the brand is the Volare W9 Limousine. According to our planning, this month the whole brand network will be supplied with the new Euro V models”, adds Milton Susin. "The first units began to be manufactured last month and are now available at dealerships and points of sale throughout Brazil. "Besides being more economical and less polluting they also gained more power and torque due to the new Cummins and MWM International engines that provide ease maintenance because of the on-board diagnosis”, says Susin.

The vehicles that started to arrive at the brand representatives and dealerships throughout Brazil gained a new front grille with honeycomb design (similar to a honeycomb structure).Īccording to Milton Susin, Volare’s CEO, the new W9, DW9, W8, V8, V6 and V5 vehicles were developed to significantly reduce emissions of particulate matter (black smoke) and fuel consumption. Vehicles have a new front grille, besides providing greater environmental protection and reduced fuel consumptionĬaxias do Sul (RS), MaVolare, the Brazilian leader in the production of minibuses, presented in Sao Paulo its 2012 line of minibuses with an engine that meets the Brazilian Greenhouse Gas Protocol (P7 PROCONVE - Euro V).
