The new 2012 line of Volare minibuses is composed of six models - W9, DW9, W8, V8, V6 and V5 - with different configurations, for use in chartering and inbound tourism, city, school, and special units for health, mobile police station and transport of prisoners. It also has LED in the rear position lights, outline marker lights and "brake-light." Susin emphasizes that the LED technology represents a breakthrough for the Brazilian bus segment and ensures greater security by allowing long distance visibility. The W9 Limousine is also equipped with a new system of ducted air conditioning which improves the air flow direction and has individual outputs located on the service panel. Milton Susin also emphasizes that the W9 Limousine was developed with greater use of 100% recyclable engineering plastic components, which absorb impact and collaborate with environmental preservation. The parcel rack gained new design and fastening system that allowed the expansion of the luggage capacity to 90 l / m against 75 l / m of the previous model to facilitate placement and removal of volumes. This material was developed to adapt to the passenger’s structure and height, accommodating him/her to the seat with maximum comfort.Īnother innovation is that the seats have cup holders, integrated foot rest and retractable seatbelt. The model has Executive Soft semi-bed seats which are wider (1060 mm) and covered with black leather, double orange stitching and head rest made of viscoelastic foam. It is equipped with MWM MaxxForce 4.8 engine, with a power output of 165 bhp, torque of 600 Nm between 1,200 and 1,600 rpm and it uses SCR technology which reduces NOx emission to very low levels, close to zero and helps provide fuel economy.
